Early life


Ld18 was born in Brooklyn, New York, where he had a complex childhood from the ages of 6 to 7. He saw a television ad for a toy called Morphboard, which got him interested in skateboarding. Once interested in skateboarding, he seemed to develop a fascination with the clothes skateboards wore, which led to a lifelong love for fashion. In 2020, he downloaded the TikTok app and at first posted a video of himself in a minato cloak dancing to Lil Uzi Vert. During 2021, he downloaded CapCut and began posting videos of anime characthers such as Son Goku, Naruto, Deku, and Luffy. During this time period, he moved from New York City to rural Pennsylvania. A time period he described as"going to hell," where he found the most comfort in posting TikToks and skateboarding, which he would quit. He stayed underground until 2025

he started the LD18 account and began posting more edits on TikToks going viral for an edit in which he points out the irony in the term"the war to end all wars".
