Lady Silver is an Israeli alternative rock band formed in Tel Aviv. The group consists of vocalist and guitarist Max Spon, guitarist Daniel Krichevsky, bassist and keyboardist Gal Motiuk, and music producer Stav Pardo. Their music blends alternative rock with British rock, funk, and disco influences, drawing on the members' shared backgrounds in cinema and literature.
Lady Silver began drawing international attention in 2019 with their debut single "Want You for Myself." All four members cite filmmaking as a significant influence on their approach to songwriting and performance — their stated goal is to make music that is "visually vivid," with lyrics, melodies, harmonies, and production choices all serving a central narrative.
The band has described their work as occupying two modes: dark satire directed at media, technology, and culture, and earnest romantic introspection. Their mission statement — "Music, satire, and romanticism" — reflects this divide. Influences include Queens of the Stone Age, Arctic Monkeys, Franz Ferdinand, Kasabian, The Strokes, Foals, The Black Keys, and Muse.
Lady Silver's debut release, available on Bandcamp, included two tracks: "Move Away" and "Happy Anyway." "Move Away" was produced by Nir Horowitz and features the band's recurring theme of demanding creative renewal over stagnation. "Happy Anyway" adopts a theatrical tone around acceptance of life's unpredictability.
Lady Silver's debut full-length album was recorded during the COVID-19 pandemic lockdowns in an underground studio the band referred to as a "band bubble." The ten-track record was recognized by Rock Radio UK and BCFM Radio, receiving third place for "Album of the Year." The album is thematically divided: the first half addresses dark satire (reality TV voyeurism, fake news, conformity, toxic leadership, influencer culture) and the second half turns toward earnest romance and emotional connection.
Songs on Circus Pop include:
All lyrics by Max Spon; music by Lady Silver. Producers: Stav Pardo (most tracks), Gal Oved ("Wondershow").
Lady Silver's second studio album, released under the label Mobile1 Music. The title references the "pay to win" mechanic in video games as a metaphor for rigged systems. Thematically the album focuses on AI, social media culture, digital life, and truth in the modern world.
All lyrics by Max Spon; music by Lady Silver; produced by Stav Pardo.
Songs include:
A curated thematic collection drawing tracks from across Lady Silver's catalogue, released April 9, 2026. Lady Red gathers the band's satirical and social commentary material — described as the "red side" of their work — and excludes love songs entirely. Tracks include "Wondershow," "Pigeons," "Move Away," "News of the World," "Sock Puppet," "Man of the Hour," "Honey," "Algorithm and Blues," and "Who's Behind the Curtain."
