Kristopher Bell (born August 27, 1976), also known professionally as Doc Sizzo, is an American basketball coach and music producer. He is the head girls basketball coach at Champaign Central High School in Champaign, Illinois. He has also worked as a producer and songwriter in gospel and inspirational music.
Early life and education
Bell was born in Danville, Illinois. He began playing drums at an early age and later learned piano by ear. He developed an interest in music production during his teenage years while working in studio environments in Illinois.
He attended Danville High School and later studied Business Marketing at Southern New Hampshire University.
Music career
Working under the professional name Doc Sizzo, Bell has worked in gospel and inspirational music production as a producer and songwriter.
Bell is credited on Bryan Andrew Wilson’s 2008 album A Second Coming….[1]
He has also been associated with production and remix work within gospel and Christian music projects.
Basketball coaching career
Bell has coached basketball for more than two decades at the middle school and high school levels in Illinois.
In 2022, he received recognition from the Illinois Basketball Coaches Association (IBCA) for coaching achievement, including milestone recognition for reaching 100 career wins at the middle school level.[2]
During the 2025–26 season, Bell led Champaign Central High School to a regional championship season. Following the season, he was named Coach of the Year by The News-Gazette.[3]
