Keith Colon Rodriguez (born 5 October 2002) is an American professional boxer. He is a former 2-time New Jersey Golden Gloves champion as well as the runner up at both the 2024 National Golden Gloves and the 2021 US National Championships.

Early life

Keith Colon Rodriguez was born on October 5, 2002 in Newark, New Jersey.

Amateur Career

Colon began boxing at the age of 12 and has an amateur record of 55-15. He was a 3-time international gold medalist and 3-time international silver medalist. He has fought in the 2022 Independence Cup defeating Cristopher Quezada Rosados before losing to Fernando De Jesus Piter Ynoa, also competing in the 2022 Juan Evangelista Venegas Tournament, defeating Alberto Sostre before losing to Caleb Tirado. Colon lost to Floyd Schofield early on in his career, later losing to Jahmal Harvey in the 2018 Eastern Regional Junior Open in the flyweight bracket. Colon held an amateur win over the brother to WBO lightweight champion, Abdullah Mason, Adel Mason. Colon’s amateur rival was Julius Ballo who defeated Colon three times, first in the 2021 US National Championships final, then in the quarterfinals of the USA Boxing International Invitational, and lost for the third time to Ballo in the 2024 National Golden Gloves final. In 2023, Colon fought Miguel Vega Barreras in Cali, Columbia in the Pan American championship elite men category of the featherweight bracket, losing by unanimous decision.

Professional Boxing Career

Colon made his pro debut on July 6, 2024 on the undercard of Shakur Stevenson vs Artem Harutyunyan in his home town of Newark. Colon fought Hunter Turbyfill, defeating Turbyfill by TKO at 2:03 of Round 2. Colon won his next 3 fight all in his home state of New Jersey before traveling to Maryland to make his debut at super featherweight against Rashad Hicks, defeating the Missouri native by TKO at 1:21 of Round 1. In Colon’s next fight, he fought his first 6 round bout against Robin Ellis, winning by TKO at 1:04 of Round 2. Colon defeated Wilmer Soto in August 2025, before facing fellow undefeated David Calabro in Swift Promotions card, Farewell to Brooklyn. Colon defeated the Pennsylvania native winning by TKO at 2:26 of Round 3. Colon’s next fight was on the undercard of Subriel Matías vs Dalton Smith, fighting in his first 8 round bout against former world title challenger, Alberto Guevara. Colon dominated the Mexican, dropping him twice in the fifth round and once in the sixth round, winning by TKO at 1:09 of Round 7, being up on all score cards 60-51 twice and 59-52 once. Colon fought Luis Almendarez Morales on April 10, 2026, winning by TKO at 2:38 of the opening round. As of June 2026, Colon is currently ranked #9 in the IBF - USBA ratings.
