Jun Katakura (片倉 惇, Katakura Jun, born May 3, 1986) is a Japanese composer, music producer, and sound designer. He is the representative of JUN MUSIC.[1]
After graduating from the Department of Music Design at Kunitachi College of Music, Katakura began his career as a composer for commercials. He served as COO of adNote Inc. from 2019 to 2021. He is currently based in Mishima, Shizuoka, and has worked on projects including the spatial sound design for "Future of Life," Hiroshi Ishiguro Signature Pavilion, Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan. His work is characterized by an integrated approach to sound content and acoustic design, which he describes as "immersive sound design".[1][2][3]
