Jay Styler is a British content creator known for his work across social media platforms, initially gaining recognition for beauty and lifestyle content before expanding into entertainment, pop culture and LGBTQ+ commentary.^[1]

Styler began creating online content centred around beauty, makeup and lifestyle. During the COVID-19 pandemic, his social media presence grew, leading to collaborations with beauty and lifestyle brands. He was featured by HuffPost UK as a makeup artist, where he shared advice on makeup techniques, including the use of glitter and seasonal beauty looks. ^[2]

Styler was born and raised in Portsmouth, England, before later relocating to Scotland.

In an interview with Metro, Styler discussed the changing influencer industry, including challenges surrounding brand budgets, sponsored content and the impact of the cost-of-living crisis on digital creators. ^[3]

Styler has contributed to BBC Scotland's digital platform The Social, producing content for the broadcaster's online audience. ^[4]
