Integrity, something that most people learn about in the first stages of their lives. It is talked about being honest and trustworthy, even if there is no one around, and creates strong bonds through relationships and friendships between people. Integrity is performed almost everywhere ranging from you work or school, to places that are highly populated, but still people wonder about what really is integrity and how it is used around the globe, and that is why in this article, you will find out about how integrity can shape the world into a much better place to live in, and influence people around the world to be kind to everyone no matter what.

What is Integrity?

Integrity is when you have morals like honesty, respect, empathy, uprightness ETC. Integrity happens a lot and there are multiple experiences that I have had of integrity like one of the times I fell down ancient stairs A women asked if I needed any help, there are many more these experiences of integrity that has happened in my life as well as your life and there are some small acts of integrity that you could try to do on a daily bases like pulling the door for someone and there are many more acts of integrity that you can do daily.

Why is Integrity Important?

Integrity is important to create relationships with society, building trust between you and the community this can. Integrity also helps getting respected by people and get back what you give to people, which is essentially getting help whenever you need it. Integrity also helps your mental health, as studies show that integrity helps you be in a happier state, which leads to living longer.

Integrity in Daily life.

Integrity happens almost everywhere, and there are multiple acts of integrity that most people do on a daily or weekly basis. These acts range from opening the door for someone to donate money to charity to help people in need. Some small acts of integrity you can do daily are take responsibility, be honest, respect others' privacy, and keep promises.

Challenges to Integrity.

There are sometimes where we can't stick to our values and morals as if we did it would harm our image as a person. This can happen when a person is pressured to act to their normal values mainly but there are some other reasons for other values that a person has like for honesty a person might lie and blame someone else on something that they done so that they don't get in trouble, or not acting kind to someone because other people don't act kind and then you get influenced by them.

The Benefits of living with integrity

There are many benefits to living integrity, but there are a few that change your lifestyle. One of those benefits is that integrity can change your reputation overall as integrity is basically when you help people out and express your values and when you do that people will start liking you more and bond with you knowing that you are a great person. Another one is that it helps you become a leader as if you express your values, it shows that you are a great leader that can guide people to be better people. Last but not least, integrity is one of the keys to long-term success as integrity builds personality, creating long-term success.

How to Develop Integrity

There are a lot of ways to develop integrity, so these are the ways:

Be honest- Being honest is always telling the truth no matter what the situation is.

Take responsibility- Don't put the blame on other people and admit your mistake.

Keep promises- Do the things you said you will do.

Treat everyone fairly- Show everyone the same respect.

Stand by your values- Do the right thing, even if no one is watching.

Think before acting- Consider what you are going to do and think if it has any consequences and is bad for society.

Learn from mistakes- Use your errors and do the opposite thing the next time.

In conclusion, integrity is one of the most important values a person can have. It means being honest, responsible, and respectful even when no one is watching. Integrity helps build trust between people, strengthen relationships, and create a better society. Although there can be challenges that make it difficult to always act with integrity, practicing small acts of honesty and kindness every day can make a significant difference. By developing integrity and staying true to our values, we can positively influence others and help create a world where people treat each other with respect and fairness.
