Ing Asavanund (Thai: อิงค์ อัศวานันท์; born 9 February 2006), nicknamed Ing, is a Thai actor and professional motorcycle racer. He is currently an artist under the talent management agency GMMTV.[1]

Early and personal life

Ing was born on 9 February 2006. His father, Att-Thongyai Asavanund, is a Thai business executive specializing in investment and digital assets. According to Thairath, Att is regarded as one of the key figures in the development of Thailand's digital asset industry. His father bears the royal surname (Ratchasakun) Thongyai (ทองใหญ่), a royal lineage that traces its ancestry to Prince Prachak Silapakom [th].[2]

According to a 2025 interview with Forbes Thailand, Ing developed an interest in motorcycle racing through his father. What began as weekend rides together later led him to pursue competitive racing, with his father's support.[3] Ing has also said that he plans to study communications at university while continuing his acting and racing careers.[3]

Career

Motorsports

Outside of acting, Ing is a competitive motorcycle racer. He became interested in racing through his family's involvement in the sport.[3] He started in 400-meter bracket drag racing before moving to circuit racing.[3] He later represented Thailand in the Yamaha R3 bLU cRU Asia-Pacific Championship. As of 2026, he races in the 600 Super Sports 1 (SS1) class with race number 149 and is sponsored by Gulf Oil Thailand.[4]

Entertainment

Ing began his career in the Thai entertainment industry as a trainee under the production company IdolFactory. He made his acting debut in the 2025 television series My Sweetheart Jom. In 2026, he joined GMMTV as one of the agency's rookie artists.[1][5]
