Jan Vincent Contopidis (born 12 June 2000), known professionally as iFeature, is a German electronic music producer, DJ, and audio software developer.[1] He is known for releases on independent electronic music labels such as NoCopyrightSounds, Subsidia Records, Neosignal, and Majestic Collective, as well as for developing audio production software.[2][3]
Jan Vincent Contopidis was born in Hamburg, Germany. He began producing electronic music in 2014 under the alias iFeature.[4] His musical style incorporates elements of Drum and bass, Dubstep, and Future bass.[2]
Throughout his career, Contopidis has released music on various established electronic music labels, including NoCopyrightSounds (NCS) and Majestic Collective, a label founded by electronic artist Apashe. He has also collaborated with other artists in the bass music scene, including German drum and bass producer Phace.[5] In December 2023, he released the single "Sky Babylon", followed by his studio album Forbidden in April 2024.[6] His development as an artist has been covered by regional German press, with the Lübecker Nachrichten comparing his early career trajectory to that of Felix Jaehn.[2]
Parallel to his music releases, Contopidis works as an independent audio software developer. Under the iFeature brand, he develops Max for Live devices and AU/VST plugins for electronic music production. This includes the pitch-shifting device IFEA Shifter, which was co-developed with Phace,[7] and the plugin ANOMALY, a selective band frequency shifter co-developed with producer Virtual Riot.[3]

It is often easier to prove the notability of a creative work than of a person. If the person is not yet notable, but their work has received multiple in-depth professional reviews, consider writing about the work instead.
