HashCortX is a local-first desktop artificial intelligence workspace that runs multiple AI agents on a user's own machine. It bundles chat, coding, multi-agent orchestration, sandboxed execution and other tools into a single application built on the Tauri framework, with the stated goal of allowing private agent workflows without transmitting user data to third-party servers.^[1]

The application is developed by Seif Hashish, an Egyptian clinical pharmacist who began the project as an independent open-source effort and developed it in public.^[1]^[2]
