Foundation Software is a US-based developer and provider of construction software and services. Specializing in the commercial sector, the company is headquartered in Strongsville, Ohio, and has been owned by private equity firm Thoma Bravo since 2020.

Foundation Software was founded in 1985 by Fred Ode, who served as the company's first programmer.^[1] He began developing his construction accounting software, eventually named FOUNDATION®, to address the unique accounting and financial management needs of the construction industry, which traditional accounting software often failed to meet.
