Fly91 is an Indian regional airline operated by Just Udo Aviation Private Limited. It commenced scheduled commercial operations on 18 March 2024 and operates a fleet of ATR 72-600 aircraft from its base at Manohar International Airport in Goa. It primarily serves destinations in western and southern India.
Fly91's parent company, Just Udo Aviation Private Limited, was promoted by Harsha Raghavan and Manoj Chacko.[1] The company received a ₹200 crore (approximately US$25 million) initial equity investment from private equity firm Convergent Finance.[2] The Fly91 brand was unveiled in January 2023. The airline is named after India's country dialing code, +91.[3][1] After receiving its Air Operator Certificate (AOC) from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, Fly91 inaugurated operations on 18 March 2024 with scheduled flights connecting Goa with Bengaluru and Hyderabad.[4]
In an interview with The Economic Times, chief executive Manoj Chacko said that Fly91 focuses on connecting unserved and underserved tier-2 and tier-3 cities while avoiding direct competition on major trunk routes. Fly91 participates in the Government of India's UDAN regional connectivity scheme, which provides viability gap funding (VGF) to offset operating costs on nascent routes. Chacko stated that the airline aims to remain commercially sustainable after the VGF subsidies expire.[2]
According to a July 2026 podcast by The Economic Times, operating turboprop aircraft allows Fly91 to keep fuel costs at approximately 22 percent of revenue.[5] To streamline operations at smaller regional airports, the airline has also pursued strategies such as eliminating traditional check-in counters to speed up aircraft turnaround times.[5]
In June 2026, The Morning Context reported that Fly91 reached operating breakeven in the third quarter of FY26 and was seeking additional capital to support its expansion.[6]
Fly91 operates a single-type fleet of ATR 72-600 turboprop aircraft.[7]
