Firevolt is an annual rock music festival held at Whitebottom Farm, near Etherow Country Park, Stockport, in Greater Manchester, England. It was first held in 2022 under the name "Firestorm", before rebranding as Firevolt for subsequent years.[1]

History

The inaugural event took place from 12–14 August 2022, featuring around 30 bands across two stages, and received positive coverage from local and specialist music outlets [2]. After being renamed Firevolt, the festival has since taken place annually each August, with subsequent editions introducing new sponsorships [1], incremental improvements to layout and vendor areas [3], and a third stage added in 2025 [4].

Location

The festival is held at Whitebottom Farm, a working farm that has diversified to host festivals, weddings and other events [5]. The site features a covered barn used as a performance area and bar, permanent toilet and shower facilities, and designated backstage spaces. Additional temporary stages are installed around the wider farm area, which also provides pitches for tents, glamping, and live-in vehicles. Due to the venue’s location within Etherow Country Park, attendees park in designated off-site car parks and either walk or use a free shuttle bus to reach the main site [6]
