Ethan Lay is known as the first person to fail PLTW's Gateway to Technology. The class was designed to be extremely easy, but due to Lay's behavior and procrastination, he was denied completion of the course.[1][2][3]
After achieving this new record, Ethan Lay went on to become a baseball player for Sacramento State University.[4]
