Olajide A. Emmanuel (born 1995), known professionally as Emanvee, is a Nigerian Afro soul artist, songwriter and record producer. He is known for emotionally driven music that explores loneliness, healing, faith, love, resilience and self-discovery.[1]
Emanvee began his music career through production, songwriting and creative collaborations before releasing his own music. His early releases include "Back To You" and "No One To Call", with the latter becoming one of his most recognised early songs.[2] In May 2026, he released his debut studio album, The Lonely Tribe.[3]
Emanvee was born Olajide A. Emmanuel in Irun Akoko, Ondo State, Nigeria, in 1995. He is based in Osogbo, Osun State.[4] According to BusinessDay, he developed an interest in music and storytelling while growing up and was influenced by Nigerian artist Olamide.[5]
Before becoming known as a recording artist, Emanvee worked behind the scenes in music production, collaboration and creative development.[6] In 2024, he worked closely with Urban Chords on creative projects, gaining experience in songwriting, production and artist development.[7]
On 16 August 2024, Emanvee and Urban Chords released the collaborative extended play Crowned Through the Storm. The project contained six songs: "Light in the Dark", "Carry Me Through", "Heaven Heard My Cry", "Rise & Conquer", "Crowned in Glory" and "Celebrate Me Now". The project introduced Emanvee's early gospel-influenced and reflective songwriting style.
On 20 November 2025, Emanvee released the extended play Love & Hustle Theory. The project contained five songs: "Fake Love, Real Hustle", "Chasing Pay", "No One To Call", "Bank Alert Love" and "God, Love & Gold". It featured contributions from Urban Chords and Debbie Micky.
"No One To Call" became one of Emanvee's most recognised early songs and helped introduce his reflective songwriting style to a wider audience.[8] BusinessDay described the song as one of the releases that established his reputation for emotionally driven music.[9]
On 23 January 2026, Emanvee released No One To Call (Remixes), a four-track remix extended play. The project included "No One To Call II" with Urban Chords, "No One To Call III" with Wani and Jay Vee, "No One To Call IV" with Soul of Afrika, and the original version of "No One To Call".
In May 2026, Emanvee released his debut studio album, The Lonely Tribe.[10] The album contains 15 tracks and explores themes including isolation, emotional healing, love, faith, personal growth and self-discovery.[11][12]
The project features contributions from Wani, Soul of Afrika, Urban Chords, Inspiraystonner, Hera, Automixx and VFF MIX.[13][14] P.M. News reported that the album included songs such as "Silence", "Lonely Tribe", "Broken Promises", "Scars Speak", "Outcast" and "Alive".[15]
Before the album's release, snippets of "Silence" gained attention on TikTok and Instagram. Nigerian Tribune reported that a preview of the song posted by LyricsScenes attracted more than 500,000 views, while another upload by MLMTunes surpassed 780,000 views.[16] ThisDay also cited the track as an example of how independent artists use short-form platforms to build audiences before official releases.[17]
Emanvee has worked with artists and creatives including Urban Chords, Soul of Afrika, Wani, Inspiraystonner, Hera, Automixx, VFF MIX, Debbie Micky and Jay Vee.[18]
