Angelo Edalo Marinelli, professionally known as Edalo, is a Buffalo, NY-born and raised live-electronic musician, composer and producer. He is known for blending electronic dance music with live instruments and was the first live-electronic act to headline Kleinhans Music Hall. [1]

Career

Edalo launched his professional music career in 2012 by collaborating with established artists such as Robby Takac of the Goo Goo Dolls to compose the song "Mariposa". [2] In 2013, he moved to Los Angeles to write and produce a song that was a tribute to Ray Charles with Charles' grandson, Robert Robinson (known as RobTwyce). [3] This collaboration led to the release of the single "You" in 2015, and throughout his career, he continued to work closely with the Ray Charles Family and Foundation. [4] [5] Soon after, Edalo released his first full-length album, Faith. [6]

In 2017, he released an EP titled California Rush via Castle Music Group.[7] Edalo has also performed as an opening act for several established artists, including Michael Blume, Kent Jones, Malik Yusef, and Rozes. [8]

In April 2023,[citation needed] Edalo released his electronic album Mirage and in October of that year, his official music video for his song "Never Enough" was aired on MTV. [9] [10] On January 3, 2025, he performed his debut concert at Kleinhans Music Hall in Buffalo, New York. [11]

Other Ventures

Beyond the world of music production, Edalo has written a poetry book titled Lost In Thought. [12] He is also the founder of a recording studio, Hertel Sound Lab, located in Western New York that offers recording lessons to students. [13]
