The Digital Targeting Web (DTW) is a unified "system of systems" framework designed to integrate sensors, decision-makers, and weapons platforms across the British Armed Forces into a single, high-speed data network. Mandated by the 2025 Strategic Defence Review, it employs artificial intelligence and secure cloud computing to accelerate the "kill chain," enabling real-time targeting and multi-domain strikes at machine speed. As a cornerstone of British military modernisation, the initiative serves as the overarching digital fabric that synchronises service-specific projects like Project Asgard to achieve a tenfold increase in force lethality by 2027.
