David M. Blunt is an American Christian pastor, author, and leadership coach. He is best known as the founder and senior pastor of Church on the Rock, a multi-campus charismatic megachurch based in St. Peters, Missouri.[1]
In 1983, Blunt and his wife Kim moved to the St. Louis area and founded Church on the Rock. The church held its first service in a local Holiday Inn with 35 people in attendance.[2] Over the subsequent four decades, the congregation grew significantly, expanding into a multi-campus ministry with a weekend attendance of nearly 5,000 members.[2]
As senior pastor, Blunt has focused his ministry on biblical teaching, leadership development, and community impact. The church is known in the region for its size and its role in the community, occasionally attracting notable figures. For example, former Major League Baseball player Darryl Strawberry and his wife Tracy attended Church on the Rock following their conversion to Christianity, where they became actively involved in worship before launching their own ministry.[3]
In addition to pastoring, Blunt hosts a podcast, produces leadership resources, and frequently speaks at conferences and other churches. He has appeared as a guest on Christian media programs, including the Expect A Miracle podcast hosted by Richard Roberts.[4]
Blunt is the author of several Christian books focusing on faith, personal growth, and leadership. His published works include:

Category:American Christian writers
