Conrad Hool is a film producer and production manager. His credits include 2 Hearts, Man on Fire, Crocodile Dundee in Los Angeles, One Man's Hero and Steel Dawn..[1]

Career

Hool began his film career as an actor around 1970, with early appearances inSoldier Blue (1970)[2], Rio Lobo (1970), directed by Howard Hawks, [3] and Lawman (1971)[4] Hool was one of the producers of the 1999 film One Man's Hero, directed by Lance Hool.[5] Hool was co-producer and unit production manager on the 2004 film Man on Fire.[6] Hool worked as a producer and unit production manager on the 1987 film Steel Dawn[7], and later as co-producer and unit production manager on the 2001 film Crocodile Dundee in Los Angeles.[8] In the late 2010s, Hool initiated the development of the film 2 Hearts after meeting Jorge and Leslie Bacardi on a cruise and learning the story of Jorge Bacardi's double lung transplant. Hool brought the story to his brother Lance Hool and persuaded him to direct the project, which became the film 2 Hearts.[9] In 2011, the Associated Press identified Hool as chief operating officer of Santa Fe Studios;[10] the Los Angeles Times identified Hool, his brother Lance Hool and Jason Hool as the studio's owners when the facility opened.
