ClassroomX is a South African educational technology (EdTech) platform that provides digital solutions for schools by connecting students, teachers, parents, and school administrators through a unified digital ecosystem. The platform integrates school management, communication, academic tools, and artificial intelligence into a single application designed to improve collaboration and reduce administrative workload.
ClassroomX is available as a web application and Progressive Web Application (PWA), allowing users to access the platform across desktop and mobile devices.
ClassroomX was founded on 5 May 2026 by Renaldo Nel, a South African entrepreneur. The project originated from the vision of creating a modern, all-in-one education platform capable of replacing multiple disconnected school systems with a single, intuitive solution.
During the early stages of development, Philip De Villiers joined the company as co-founder. Together, the founders focused on developing a platform that combines school management, communication, academic administration, and artificial intelligence into one secure ecosystem for educational institutions.
Since its founding, ClassroomX has continued to expand its features, introducing dedicated portals for students, teachers, parents, and school administrators, as well as its integrated AI assistant, MrX AI.

Nel founded ClassroomX with the objective of modernizing school management through technology by creating an intuitive digital platform that improves communication, simplifies administration, and enhances the educational experience for students, teachers, parents, and school administrators.
