Catherine Meeks (born 1946 Arkansas) is an American pastor, and activist.[1] She was founding director of the Absalom Jones Episcopal Center for Racial Healing.[2][3]

Biography

She graduated from Pepperdine University, Clark Atlanta University and Emory University. She taught at Mercer University, and Wesleyan College.[4][5]

She was awarded honorary degrees from the Virginia Theological Seminary, Seminary of the Southwest, and Berkeley Divinity School at Yale.[4]
