Benjamin Willwerth (born 4 July 2007) is an American tennis player. He has a career-high singles ranking of No. 1,172 achieved on 21 July 2025 and a doubles ranking of No. 2,040 achieved on 3 November 2025.[1]

Career

Willwerth reached the final of the boys' singles at the 2025 Australian Open with a three-set win over compatriot Jagger Leach. In the final, he faced Swiss player Henry Bernet.[2]

He reached the quarter-finals in the boys' singles at the 2025 French Open before losing to German Max Schönhaus on a third set tiebreak.[3] At the championships he also played in the boys' doubles alongside compatriot Noah Johnston, where they reached the final before losing to Oskari Paldanius of Finland and Poland's Alan Ważny.[4][5][6] The pair went on to reach the final of the boys' doubles at the 2025 US Open, after they defeated Jamie Mackenzie and Dominick Mosejczuk on a match tiebreak in the semi-final, before losing on a match tiebreak in the final to compatriots Keaton Hance and Jack Kennedy.[7][8]

Personal life

He is from Jupiter, Florida.[9][10] His parents and his brother, Finn, all played tennis. His father works for Wilson Sporting Goods.[11]
