Bancomail is an Italian company specializing in B2B email marketing databases. Founded in 2001 and headquartered in Genoa, Italy, it operates as Bancomail S.p.A. (VAT number IT02727350999, REA GE 506965).^[1]

The company sells lists of business email addresses categorized by industry and geography. According to the company, its database includes contacts from Italy and more than 25 countries.^[2]

In 2023, Bancomail published a study analyzing email domain preferences across more than 3,500,000 business contacts in Europe. The research found that 70% of Italian freelancers and professionals use free email services (such as Gmail or Hotmail) rather than paid domain-based addresses, placing Italy first in Europe for free email adoption among professionals. The study was reported by La Repubblica,^[3] Bitmat,^[4] and Arena Digitale.^[5]

Bancomail operates a non-profit support programme in which customers can direct 10% of their purchase value to a partner charitable organisation at no additional cost. Wikimedia Italia, the Italian chapter of the Wikimedia Foundation, has described the initiative on its website.^[6] MediCinema Italia, an organisation that brings cinema experiences to hospital patients, has also joined the programme.^[7]
