Ash Nouri is an Iranian-American art dealer.[1][2] He works in Contemporary and Modern Art at Sotheby's in Los Angeles.[3][4]
Nouri received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Southern California in 2019.[5]
Nouri began his career at Sotheby's New York in the Fiduciary Client Group, where he focused on the management of artworks held in estates and fiduciary accounts.[4][5] He joined the Sotheby's Los Angeles office in 2019.[3]
At Sotheby’s, Nouri works in global business development, focusing on private sales and auction sourcing.[3] His work has included consignments involving West Coast collections, including those associated with businessman David H. Murdock, actress Julie Andrews, and actress Jacqueline Bisset.[3] He has also worked on acquisitions involving works by Fernando Botero and Roy Lichtenstein, including Lichtenstein's Stretcher Frame with Cross Bars III, which sold for $4.9 million in May 2025.[6][3]
In 2022, Nouri purchased a mid-century modern residence in the Hollywood Hills that had previously been owned by actress Lorraine Bracco, for $2.3 million.[6][2] He listed the property for $2.425 million in early 2026.[2]
