ArenaPlus is a Philippine online sports betting platform launched in February 2023. It is operated by Total Gamezone Xtreme Inc. (TGXI), the entity registered with the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) for the ArenaPlus brand, and forms part of the wider digital gaming portfolio of TGXI's parent company, DigiPlus Interactive Corp.[1][2] ArenaPlus has partnered with several sports organizations and leagues, including the National Basketball Association (NBA),[3] the International Basketball Federation (FIBA),[4] the Premier Volleyball League (PVL),[5] and the Philippines men's national basketball team, Gilas Pilipinas.[6]

History

ArenaPlus was launched in February 2023[1] as part of DigiPlus Interactive Corp.'s portfolio of online gaming platforms, which also includes BingoPlus.[7] It operates as an online sportsbook offering sports betting on local and international sporting events, with sponsorship and partnership activity centered particularly on basketball[4] and volleyball.[5]

Partnerships and endorsements

In 2023, ArenaPlus was announced as a partner of FIBA for the Basketball World Cup, which that year was co-hosted by the Philippines, Japan, and Indonesia.[4] Around the same time, ArenaPlus entered a two-year sponsorship agreement with Gilas Pilipinas, the Philippines men's national basketball team, running through the tournament and beyond.[6]

In 2026, ArenaPlus entered a partnership with the National Basketball Association (NBA), becoming the league's first Official Betting Partner in the Philippines.[3]

Sports partnerships and ambassadors

ArenaPlus has featured several athletes as brand ambassadors, including basketball players Scottie Thompson,[8] Austin Reaves,[9] Derrick Rose,[10] and Jordan Clarkson;[11] boxer Manny Pacquiao;[12] and golfer Miguel Tabuena, described as ArenaPlus's first golf ambassador.[13]

Regulation and integrity

Licensing and corporate structure

ArenaPlus operates under a licence from PAGCOR, the state regulator for gaming in the Philippines. PAGCOR's public registers of accredited service providers and gaming system administrators list Total Gamezone Xtreme Incorporated (TGXI) as the registered operator of the ArenaPlus brand and the arenaplus.ph domain; TGXI is a subsidiary of DigiPlus Interactive Corp., which describes ArenaPlus as part of its wider portfolio of online gaming brands.[1][2]

Sportradar Integrity Exchange

In April 2026, DigiPlus announced that it had integrated ArenaPlus into the Sportradar Integrity Exchange (SIE), a global information-sharing network used by sports-betting operators to flag suspicious betting activity linked to match-fixing. DigiPlus described the move as intended to build what it called "a collective defense network to help combat manipulation in sports".[14]

Public and legislative scrutiny

The platform operates within a broader Philippine regulatory environment in which the growth of online gambling has drawn increasing public and legislative scrutiny. In December 2025, PAGCOR announced plans for a nationwide, round-the-clock problem-gambling helpline to launch in 2026, alongside tighter restrictions on gambling advertising, including the removal of gambling promotions from billboards and other out-of-home locations. PAGCOR said it had also expanded self-exclusion mechanisms and strengthened ties with counselling organizations. ArenaPlus head Erick Su said the platform used registration data and user activity patterns to deliver responsible-gambling messaging and to enforce know-your-customer (KYC) requirements.[15]

In July 2025, lawmakers in both chambers of the Philippine Congress introduced proposals to ban or further restrict online gambling, including platforms accredited by PAGCOR.[16] Licensed online gaming operators, as a group, opposed an outright ban and instead called for stronger regulation, arguing that prohibition risked pushing Filipino users toward unregulated black-market gambling sites and would reduce government revenue.[16]

Finances

DigiPlus Interactive Corp. does not disclose financial results for ArenaPlus separately from its other gaming brands; the figures below reflect DigiPlus's consolidated group performance, of which ArenaPlus forms a part.

In March 2026, DigiPlus reported consolidated net income of ₱12.6 billion for full-year 2025, broadly unchanged from the prior year. Group revenue rose 12 percent to ₱84.2 billion, from ₱75.2 billion in 2024, and EBITDA rose 2 percent to ₱14.2 billion. DigiPlus said stronger first-half results had offset a slowdown following the third-quarter delinking of e-wallet in-app access to licensed online gaming platforms, a change mandated by regulators.[17]

In May 2026, DigiPlus reported that its consolidated net income for the first quarter of 2026 had fallen 33 percent year-on-year to ₱2.8 billion. Revenue declined 25 percent to ₱17.2 billion, and EBITDA contracted 42 percent to ₱2.6 billion.[7]
