  • Comment: The requirement here is for corporate depth, and in that analysis a long list of elements considered to be "corporate trivia" gets discounted. That includes funding. Have a look at WP:SIRS and the sections below that on corporate depth and corporate trivia. It would be quite unusual for a new company like this to have that corporate depth, very few companies would qualify for notability on the definition. ChrysGalley (talk) 10:05, 20 April 2026 (UTC)

AppWork is a U.S. software company that produces a web- and mobile-based maintenance management application for the multifamily residential segment of the rental housing industry. It is headquartered in [[Ramsey, New Jersey]]. The company was founded in 2022 by Sean Landsberg and Michael Katz.[1][2]

In April 2025, AppWork raised a US$13 million Series A financing led by Resolve Growth Partners.[2][3]

History

Michael Katz, a multifamily real-estate operator and founder of DASMEN Residential, began developing internal property-operations software at the firm. Sean Landsberg, then senior vice president of operations at DASMEN, worked on the software with Katz before leaving the firm to pursue it as a standalone product. The two launched AppWork as a separate company in 2022, with Landsberg as chief executive officer.[1][2]

Product

AppWork's software is a software-as-a-service application used by multifamily property managers to record and assign maintenance work orders, coordinate unit turnovers, and track on-site technicians. The application is also available through integrations with third-party property management systems, including Rent Manager from London Computer Systems.[4]

Funding

In April 2025, AppWork raised a US$13 million Series A round led by Resolve Growth Partners, a growth-equity firm. Jit Sinha, a co-founder of Resolve, joined AppWork's board of directors in connection with the investment.[2][3] The round was the company's first disclosed institutional financing.[1]
