Alltroo is a digital giving platform that allows fans to enter custom sweepstakes with athletes and celebrities by donating to charities.[1]
History
Alltroo was founded by former National Football League tight end Kyle Rudolph, NHL left wing Jason Zucker, and their philanthropic partners, including Jon Walburg, as a fundraising solution after charitable galas and golf tournaments were postponed in 2020.[2]
In June 2021, Zucker and Rudolph launched Alltroo. The name Alltroo comes from the word altruism.[3] The founders pivoted from exclusive $10,000 golf events to accessible $10 sweepstakes to democratize access to a large audience of fans and raise more money for charitable organizations. [4] [5]
Business Model
Alltroo uses a sweepstakes model. The winner and a guest often receive an all-expense-paid package that includes travel, accommodations, and tickets to an event. [6] The experience also often involves a meeting with the sponsoring athlete or celebrity. [7] The company refers to their sweepstakes as Rallies.
Notable Campaigns
In 2023, Alltroo worked with each NHL team's nominee for the King Clancy Memorial Trophy to support each player's charity of choice through sweepstakes. In January 2024, Alltroo partnered with the NFL to create a sweepstakes tired ot the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award.[8]
In 2025, Alltroo partnered with former New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees and the NFL's Crucial Catch Initiative with the American Cancer Society to give one lucky fan the chance to win the ultimate Super Bowl LX experience.[9]
In 2025, Alltroo partnered with Pete Davidson to launch a fundraising sweepstakes benefiting Answer the Call, a New York-based non-profit that supports families of first responders killed in the line of duty. The comedian offered fans the chance to win his 1970 Chevrolet truck and a trip to his next movie premiere.[10]
In August 2025, Nick Jonas launched a Rally with Alltroo, offering fans the chance to win a 2025 Volkswagen ID. Buzz electric bus that the Jonas Brothers brought along for their 20th anniversary tour. Proceeds supported Nick's nonprofit, Beyond Type 1, which advocates for those living with diabetes.[11]
