History

Acceptance Insurance was founded in 1969 in Nashville, Tennessee. The company expanded into non-standard auto insurance and other personal insurance lines over time.[3]

In 2021, Confie acquired the retail division of Acceptance Insurance, expanding its national footprint into additional markets including Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Mississippi.[4]

By 2023, Acceptance Insurance operated more than 280 retail locations across 13 states.[5]

In 2024, Acceptance Insurance became a sponsor of Kaulig Racing in the NASCAR Cup Series.[9]
