ASTRAUX is a technology company that produces a light electric vehicle and an AI-enabled companion device called Aimon.[2] The company was founded in 2025 by Su Jing, the former chief executive of Xingji Meizu Group, and publicly launched its products at IFA Berlin in September 2025.[2][3]
ASTRAUX was founded by Su Jing along with co-founders Liu Yi and Chen Siying.[4] Su previously served as chief executive of Xingji Meizu Group, which was formed after Xingji Shidai, a company she co-founded in 2022 alongside Geely chairman Li Shufu, acquired a controlling stake in Meizu Technology.[5]
The company introduced its first products, a micro electric vehicle and the Aimon companion device, at IFA Berlin in September 2025.[2] Italian trade press reported on the vehicle's European debut, noting its L6e/L7e vehicle classification.[6] In March 2026, ASTRAUX announced its electric vehicle had received Whole Vehicle Type Approval (WVTA) certification from Sweden's vehicle approval authority, permitting road use across EU member states.[7]
ASTRAUX produces two micro electric vehicle models, the AL6 and AL7, both certified under the European Union's L6e/L7e vehicle categories.[6] In the United States, the vehicles are classified as Low-Speed Vehicles under Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 500, restricting their use to roads with a posted speed limit of 35 mph (56 km/h) or less.[1] The manufacturer lists a range of approximately 180 kilometres (110 mi) for the AL6.[1]
Aimon is a spherical AI-enabled companion device with a display that shows a virtual avatar.[2] It responds to touch and voice input and reflects contextual information such as time, weather, and holidays.[2] Multiple units can interact with one another.[2]
Su Jing is the founder and chief executive of ASTRAUX.[4][2] She holds a master's degree from Peking University and previously held investment roles at China National Petroleum's Guolian Fund, Guoxin Sci-Tech Fund, and Guofengtou Fund.[8]
Liu Yi is a co-founder of ASTRAUX responsible for global marketing.[4] He previously served as vice president of Xiaomi's international sales division,[9] and was among ten employees awarded Xiaomi's "Outstanding Contributor" honor in 2021.[10] He also held sales and marketing roles at Huawei's device business earlier in his career.[4]
Chen Siying, also known as Tony Chen, is a co-founder of ASTRAUX.[4] He served as marketing director and deputy general manager at Beijing Automotive Sales from 2009 to 2018, and as vice president of Qoros Auto from 2018 to 2019.[11] He then served as deputy general manager of Lynk & Co's sales company from 2019 to 2022, during which the brand's annual sales grew from 120,000 units in 2018 to 220,500 in 2021.[12] He later served as chief executive of Great Wall Motor's WEY brand and marketing general manager for the Tank brand.[12] ASTRAUX states he also served as chief operating officer of Polestar.[4][2]
