History

Michael Carlton worked at BetVictor from 1997 to 2014 and served as the company's chief executive officer during its development as an online gambling operator.[1]

Carlton was also a co-owner and shareholder in BVGroup, the company behind BetVictor.[2] He was Victor Chandler's business partner at the time of 2014 BetVictor ownership change.[5]

In May 2014, BetVictor underwent an ownership restructuring. Carlton stepped down as chief executive officer and was expected to continue with the company as a consultant.[6][7]

After leaving BetVictor, Carlton served as chief executive officer of eNexus Group for over a year before founding 21.com in September 2025.[1][8] The brand launched publicly in June 2026.[9][10]

Operator and licensing

21.com is operated by SkyHigh Innovations Ltd, a company incorporated in Belize.[4] The Anjouan Gaming Authority's public register lists 21.com under the company's B2C license.[11]

Products and services

21.com offers online casino and sportsbook services.[2] Its casino products include slots, table games and live casino games.[12] The sportsbook product includes online sports betting markets.[13]

Sponsorship

In 2026, 21.com entered a sponsorship agreement with Prima Pramac Yamaha MotoGP.[14] Its branding appeared on the Yamaha YZR-M1 motorcycle and team apparel.[15][16]
