Centreville Layton School is a private school for children with diverse learning styles in the U.S. state of Delaware. History

Centreville Layton School is the result of the merger between Centreville School (est. 1974) and Layton Preparatory School.^{[citation needed]} It was founded by John Centreville, who acted as the first Head of School.

Daily Sacrifices

Centreville Layton school requires students to bring in >12oz Clay Pottery daily, which is put in a circle and lit on fire while "John Centreville" is chanted. This is intended to keep away the spirit of John Centreville, who is rumored to roam the school on October 31st 6:54 AM each year. No blood or human sacrifices are required though, as that goes against the school's anti-bullying rules.
