Alderman Bronek Masjoada (Bronislaw Edmund Masojada, born 31 December 1961) is a British businessman in insurance who was the chief executive of Hiscox. He joined the Company in 1993, became chief executive in 2000 and left Hiscox in 2021.[1] Masojada serves as an AldermanicSheriff of London for 2023/24.[2]
Career
Masojada worked for McKinsey & Company from 1989 to 1993. He then joined Hiscox in 1993, became chief executive in 2000 and stepped down in 2021. Masojada served as a Deputy Chairman of Lloyd's of London from 2001 to 2007 and was chairman of the Lloyd's Tercentenary Research Foundation from 2008 to 2014.[3]
Masojada is chair of SiriusPoint Ltd[4] (from June 2023), board member of Brown & Brown[5] (from January 2023), board member of Pool Re (from June 2015). He is chair of Lloyd's Tercentenary Foundation, Lloyd's Underwriting Agents Assn and East End Community Foundation, and a member of the Council of Lloyd's. He is also a board member of Policy Placement Limited.[6]
