At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population was 5,502 in 1,647 households.[5] There were 5,337 inhabitants in 1,976 households at the following census of 2011.[6] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 6,006 in 2,308 households. The most populous of its 48 villages was Setaq, with 1,046 people.[2]
