Autobi is an upcoming 2026 Indian Bengali-language psychological thriller film directed by Soumava Banerjee and produced by D. K. Bharti under the banner of Siddhi Vinayak Creations. The film stars Madhumita Sarcar, Inaaya Chowdhury, Shaheb Chatterjee, Rahul Arunoday Banerjee, and Aryann Bhowmik.[1][2]
Premise
The film follows Dimple, who grows up believing it is her responsibility to protect her younger sister, Taniya, after a childhood tragedy. Years later, when Taniya disappears after entering the Chamsutti forest in Jhargram, Dimple sets out to find her. As the search unfolds, she is forced to confront childhood trauma, fear, and hallucinations, blurring the line between reality and illusion.[3]

The film's official poster was unveiled in July 2026. The film is scheduled for release on 18 September 2026.[6]
