Ben-Hur: A Tale of the Christ, The Big Parade and The Phantom of the Opera will celebrate their 100th anniversaries; Republic Pictures and 20th Century Studios will celebrate their 90th anniversaries; Lady and the Tramp, Oklahoma!, Guys and Dolls, The Seven Year Itch and Marty will celebrate their 70th anniversaries; Best Picture Academy Award winner The Sound of Music, Dolby and Doctor Zhivago will celebrate their 60th anniversaries; Jaws, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Barry Lyndon, Dog Day Afternoon, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Nashville, The Rocky Horror Picture Show and Industrial Light & Magic (ILM) will celebrate their 50th anniversaries; Studio Ghibli will celebrate its 40th anniversary; Apollo 13, Babe, Batman Forever, Braveheart, Crimson Tide, Die Hard with a Vengeance, GoldenEye, Heat, Jumanji, Sense and Sensibility and Seven, as well as the animated films Balto, A Goofy Movie, Pocahontas and Toy Story will celebrate their 30th anniversaries; Batman Begins, Brokeback Mountain and Madagascar will celebrate its 20th anniversary; Inside Out, Mad Max: Fury Road and The Revenant will celebrate their 10th anniversaries; Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer's first musical film The Broadway Melody (1929), known for being the first sound film to win the Academy Award for Best Picture, enters the public domain this year.
