The 2021–22 season was the 88th season in the existence of Granada CF and the club's third consecutive season in the top flight of Spanish football. In addition to the domestic league, Granada participated in this season's edition of the Copa del Rey.

Note: The match was originally scheduled for 17 October 2021, but was postponed for the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualification in South America due to postponed matches because of the COVID-19 pandemic and several players would not be able to return before the match.[16]
