The 2017–18 Russian National Football League was the 26th season of Russia's second-tier football league since the dissolution of the Soviet Union. The season began on 8 July 2017 and ended on 12 May 2018.
^ abOn 28 May 2018, the league announced that FC Volgar Astrakhan chose to get relegated voluntarily due to lack of financial opportunities. According to league regulations, Rotor Volgograd will not be relegated.[2]
^Russian Football Union announced on 11 May 2018, that none of the teams from the East zone of the 2017–18 Russian Professional Football League applied for the FNL license for the 2018–19 season. According to the league regulations, 16th-placed team will not be relegated.[3]
