Ο Πάνος Τζαβέλλας (Κοζάνη, 1925 - Αθήνα, 27 Ιανουαρίου 2009) ήταν Έλληνας κομμουνιστής, τραγουδοποιός και αγωνιστής της Εθνικής Αντίστασης.

Βιογραφικό

Γεννήθηκε το 1925 στην Κοζάνη. Σε ηλικία 18 ετών εντάχθηκε στον ΕΛΑΣ. Πήρε μέρος στον Εμφύλιο και το 1949 τραυματίστηκε και συνελήφθη. Το 1961 πήγε στη Σοβιετική Ένωση, όπου παρέμεινε μέχρι το 1964 για θεραπεία, ενώ παράλληλα σπούδασε μουσική. Το 1965 επέστρεψε στην Ελλάδα και άρχισε να παίζει κιθάρα σε μπουάτ και καπηλειά.

Μετά την επιβολή της δικτατορίας συνελήφθη, βασανίστηκε στη Νέα Ιωνία και καταδικάστηκε για την αντιδικτατορική του δράση σε είκοσι χρόνια κάθειρξη. Αποφυλακίστηκε τρία χρόνια αργότερα, λόγω ανηκέστου βλάβης υγείας.

Από το 1971 μέχρι το 1974 συνεργάστηκε με τον Μάνο Λοΐζο και τον Χρήστο Λεοντή. Το 1974 άρχισε να τραγουδά τα Αντάρτικα τραγούδια στην Πλάκα, στο μαγαζί Λήδρα.[2]

Στη δεκαετία του 1980 τραγουδούσε σε κέντρο της οδού Σόλωνος.

Έχει γράψει τα βιβλία

Πέθανε από καρκίνο στις 27 Ιανουαρίου 2009 στην Αθήνα.[3]
