Ο Μοσέ Λιόν (εβραϊκά: משה ליאון‎‎, γεννηθείς 6 Οκτωβρίου 1961) είναι Ισραηλινός πολιτικός, δήμαρχος της Ιερουσαλήμ. Έχει διατελέσει μέλος του Δημοτικού Συμβουλίου της Ιερουσαλήμ, γενικός διευθυντής του Γραφείου του Πρωθυπουργού, Πρόεδρος των Ισραηλινών Σιδηροδρόμων και επικεφαλής της Αρχής Ανάπτυξης της Ιερουσαλήμ.

Ο Λιόν, ο πρώτος δήμαρχος Ιερουσαλήμ με σεφαρδίτικη καταγωγή, εξελέγη στις 13 Νοεμβρίου 2018 και ανέλαβε καθήκοντα στις 4 Δεκεμβρίου.[4]

Ζωή

Ο Μοσέ Λιόν γεννήθηκε στη συνοικία Φλορεντίν του Τελ Αβίβ, και πήγε στο Λύκειο Ζεϊτλίν. Η οικογένεια του πατέρα του κατάγεται από τη Θεσσαλονίκη, ενώ η μητέρα του έχει ρίζες στο Άντεν.[5] Ως παιδί, μετακόμισε με την οικογένειά του στο Γκιβατάιμ. Ο Λιόν υπηρέτησε στις Ισραηλινές Αμυντικές Δυνάμεις, όπου κατατάχτηκε στο θρησκευτικό σώμα του ισραηλινού Στρατού (Military Rabbinate) ενώ συμμετείχε και στη χορωδία του στρατού. [6] Περιστασιακά εξακολουθεί να μετέχει σε χορωδίες συναγωγών.[7] Ο Λιόν πήρε πτυχίο στα οικονομικά και τη λογιστική από το Πανεπιστήμιο Μπαρ-Ιλάν. Ο αδελφός του, ο Δρ. Νισσίμ Λιόν, είναι λέκτορας στο Τμήμα Κοινωνιολογίας και Ανθρωπολογίας στο Πανεπιστήμιο Μπαρ-Ιλάν.

Είναι παντρεμένος, έχει τέσσερα παιδιά, και ζει στην Ρεχαβιά της Ιερουσαλήμ.
