Ο Δήμος Φυλής είναι δήμος της περιφέρειας Αττικής που συστάθηκε με το πρόγραμμα Καλλικράτης. Προέκυψε από τη συνένωση των προϋπαρχόντων δήμων Φυλής, Άνω Λιοσίων και Ζεφυρίου. Η έκταση του νέου Δήμου είναι 105,128 τ.χλμ και ο πληθυσμός του 48.157 κάτοικοι σύμφωνα με την απογραφή του 2021. Έδρα του δήμου ορίστηκε να είναι τα Άνω Λιόσια.

Διοικητικές μεταβολές

Ο Δήμος Φυλής συστάθηκε για πρώτη φορά το 1840. Μέχρι τότε η περιοχή του δήμου ανήκε στον δήμο Αχαρνών. Ο δημότης ονομαζόταν Φυλάσιος. Έδρα του ήταν η Χασιά. Έμβλημα της σφραγίδος του δήμου ήταν ένας κισσός.[1] Το 1912 το μεγαλύτερο τμήμα του δήμου Φυλής αποτέλεσε την νεοσύστατη κοινότητα Χασιάς μετέπειτα κοινότητα Φυλής. Το 1990 η κοινότητα Φυλής αναγνωρίστηκε σε δήμο που διατηρήθηκε αμετάβλητος και μετά την εφαρμογή του προγράμματος Καποδίστριας το 1997.[2] Η συνολική του έκταση ήταν 69,3 τ.χλμ. και ο πληθυσμός του ήταν 13.013 κάτοικοι σύμφωνα με την απογραφή του 2001.[3] Μετά την 1η Ιανουαρίου 2011, με την εφαρμογή του σχεδίου Καλλικράτης, ο δήμος Φυλής συνενώθηκε με τους δήμους Άνω Λιοσίων και Ζεφυρίου σχηματίζοντας τον νέο διευρυμένο δήμο Φυλής.
