Ο Γιώργος Παπαδάκης (Χαλάνδρι, 4 Φεβρουαρίου 1951) είναι Έλληνας δημοσιογράφος.

Βιογραφία

Γεννήθηκε στο Χαλάνδρι στις 4 Φεβρουαρίου 1951[1][2] και κατάγεται από την Κρήτη. Εκτός από την επιτυχημένη του δημοσιογραφική καριέρα στην τηλεόραση, ο Γιώργος Παπαδάκης έχει διαγράψει σημαντική πορεία και στον έντυπο τύπο. Πρωτοεμφανίστηκε στην τηλεόραση τη δεκαετία του 1980 από την εκπομπή «Τρεις στον αέρα» που μεταδιδόταν το μεσημέρι από την ΕΤ1, ως συμπαρουσιαστής με τη Σεμίνα Διγενή και τον Νάσο Αθανασίου.

Από το 1992 και μετά, ο Γιώργος Παπαδάκης παρουσίαζε την πρώτη, χρονολογικά, πρωινή ενημερωτική εκπομπή της Ελληνικής Τηλεόρασης Καλημέρα Ελλάδα έως το 2011. Από το 2011 μέχρι το 2015, παρουσίαζε την αντίστοιχη ενημερωτική εκπομπή του τηλεοπτικού σταθμού ANT1 με τίτλο Πρωινό ΑΝΤ1. Από τις 7 Σεπτεμβρίου 2015, η πρωινή ενημερωτική εκπομπή μετονομάστηκε εκ νέου σε «Καλημέρα Ελλάδα», ύστερα από επιθυμία του ίδιου, που φυσικά έγινε δεκτή από το κανάλι.
