Ο Γιόχαν Μίχαελ Μπαχ (Στρουτ, 9 Νοεμβρίου 1745 - Έλμπερφελντ, 1820) ήταν Γερμανός συνθέτης. Συνδέεται πιθανώς με τον κλάδο της οικογένειας Μπαχ με καταγωγή από τη Βαϊμάρη. Σε νεαρή ηλικία ταξίδεψε στην Ολλανδία, την Αγγλία και την Αμερική. Σπούδασε νομικά, φοιτώντας αρχικά στο Πανεπιστήμιο του Γκέτινγκεν (1779-80) και αργότερα στο Πανεπιστήμιο της Λειψίας. Για ένα διάστημα εργάστηκε ως δικηγόρος (το 1790 βρισκόταν στο Γκύστροβ), χωρίς όμως να εγκαταλείψει τη μουσική και τη σύνθεση. Περίπου το 1793 διορίστηκε κάντορας και οργανίστας στo Ταν της Έσσης. Αργότερα έγκαταστάθηκε στο Έλμπερφελντ του Βούπερταλ, όπου εργάστηκε ως δάσκαλος μουσικής στο γυμνάσιο. Το μουσικό του ύφος παρουσιάζει ομοιότητες με αυτό του Γιόχαν Κρίστοφ Φρίντριχ Μπαχ.
