Το The Goonies είναι παιχνίδι παζλ-πλατφόρμας που προγραμματίστηκε από τον Σκοτ Σπάνμπουργκ και δημοσιεύτηκε το 1985 από την εταιρία παιχνιδιών Datasoft. Το παιχνίδι αυτό βασίζεται στην ομώνυμη ταινία του Ρίτσαρντ Ντόνερ.[1]

Παιχνίδι

Υπάρχουν οκτώ στάδια στο παιχνίδι, το καθένα βασισμένο σε μια σκηνή από την ταινία.[2] Σε κάθε στάδιο, οι δύο Goonies πρέπει να συνεργαστούν για να λύσουν γρίφους και παζλ και να φτάσουν στην έξοδο για να προχωρήσουν στο επόμενο στάδιο του παιχνιδιού.[3] Στη λειτουργία ενός παίκτη, το κουμπί joystick μπορεί να χρησιμοποιηθεί για εναλλαγή μεταξύ των δύο χαρακτήρων, ενώ στη λειτουργία δύο παικτών, κάθε παίκτης ελέγχει ένα Goonie ο καθένας.[4]

Αξιολόγηση

Το παιχνίδι έλαβε σχετικά θετικές κριτικές στον σύγχρονο Τύπο. Η Computer and Video Games επαίνεσε το παιχνίδι και δήλωσε ότι: «Κάθε στάδιο και πίστα είναι γεμάτη με ενδιαφέροντα παζλ, γρίφους και προβλήματα. Η προσοχή στη λεπτομέρεια είναι καλή - και το παιχνίδι είναι πολύ διασκεδαστικό για να παίζεις». Η κριτική του περιοδικού Computer Gamer ήταν επίσης θετική: «Ακόμα κι αν δεν σπάσει όλα τα ρεκόρ λογισμικού παιχνιδιών,[5] είναι ένα από τα καλύτερα παιχνίδια πλατφόρμας που έχω παίξει στην ζωή μου».[6]
