Στην ελληνική μυθολογία με το όνομα Αργανθώνη είναι γνωστή η σύζυγος του βασιλιά της Θράκης Ρήσου, με τον οποίο γνωρίστηκε κατά τη διάρκεια εκστραστείας κατά των Σκυθών στην Κίο.[1] Υπήρξε η επώνυμη ηρωίδα του Αργανθωνίου όρους της Βιθυνίας, όπου κυνηγούσε, όπως αναφέρει ο Στέφανος Βυζάντιος στο λήμμα Αργανθώνις[2].
