Das Polizeipräsidium Mittelfranken ist Teil der Bayerischen Polizei mit Dienstsitz in Nürnberg. Der räumliche Zuständigkeitsbereich umfasst den Regierungsbezirk Mittelfranken mit ca. 7.243 km² und 1,7 Millionen Einwohnern.

Etwa 4.200 Beamte und etwa 800 Polizeiangestellte arbeiten im Behördenapparat einschließlich Unterbau. Leiter ist Polizeipräsident Adolf Blöchl. Sein ständiger Vertreter ist der Polizeivizepräsident Gernot Rochholz.[1]
