Paropesia ist eine Gattung in der Unterfamilie der Wanzenfliegen. Sie wird der Tribus Parerigonini zugeordnet.[1] Das Taxon wurde von dem französischen Entomologen Louis Mesnil im Jahr 1970 eingeführt.[1] Typusart ist Paropesia nigra Mesnil, 1970.[1]

Verbreitung

Das Vorkommen der Gattung Paropesia erstreckt sich über Japan, China und Myanmar.[1]

Lebensweise

Die Paropesia-Arten sind vermutlich Endoparasitoide von Wanzen.

Innere Systematik

Die Gattung Paropesia umfasst 4 beschriebene Arten.[1]
