Kagezi ist ein Verwaltungsbezirk (englisch Ward) des Distrikts Kibondo in der tansanischen Region Kigoma.

Geografie

Kagezi ist ein ländlicher Bezirk in der Seezone, im Nordwesten von Tansania. Er liegt rund 30 Kilometer südwestlich der Distrikthauptstadt Kibondo nahe der Grenze zu Burundi.[1] Bei der Volkszählung 2022 lebten 13.651 Menschen in 2802 Haushalten[2] auf einer Fläche von 85 Quadratkilometern.[3]

Der Bezirk grenzt an vier Bezirke des Distrikts Kibondo:[4]

Infrastruktur

  • Bildung: Die Mugombe Secondary School ist eine staatliche weiterführende Schule, die Mädchen und Burschen bis zur 4. Stufe ausbildet.[5]
  • Gesundheit: Im Ort Kagezi liegt ein staatliches Gesundheitszentrum.[6]
