Elitserien (Schach) 1993/94

Die Saison 1993/94 war die siebte Spielzeit der Elitserien. Der Titelverteidiger SK Rockaden Stockholm, der SK Passanten und Schack 08 lieferten sich einen Dreikampf an der Spitze, und obwohl Rockaden Stockholm beiden Konkurrenten im direkten Vergleich unterlag, gelang die Titelverteidigung. Aus der Division I waren die Schacksällskapet Luleå, Södra SASS und die zweite Mannschaft der Schacksällskapet Manhem aufgestiegen. Während Luleå den Klassenerhalt erreichte, zog Södra SASS seine Mannschaft vor Saisonbeginn aus finanziellen Gründen zurück[1][2], und Manhems zweite Mannschaft stieg zusammen mit dem Limhamns SK direkt wieder ab.

Termine

Die Wettkämpfe fanden statt am 24. Oktober, 14. November, 5. Dezember 1993[3], 16. Januar, 6. und 27. Februar sowie 11., 12. und 13. März 1994. Die letzten drei Runden wurden zentral in Stockholm ausgerichtet.[4]
