Newyddiadurwr o Gymru yw Tweli Griffiths (ganwyd 1954).

Fe'i magwyd ym Mhencader. Fe astudiodd Gwleidyddiaeth a Gwleidyddiaeth Ryngwladol ym Mhrifysgol Aberystwyth. Yn y cyfnod yma bu'n is-lywydd ac yna'n llywydd Undeb y Myfyrwyr yn y coleg. Yng ngwanwyn 1977 fe'i benodwyd i'w swydd gyntaf ym myd y cyfryngau fel gohebydd yn y gorllewin ar raglen newyddion teledu Y Dydd.

Bu'n newyddiadurwr a chynhyrchydd ar y rhaglen materion cyfoes Y Byd Ar Bedwar. Gohebodd o sawl gwlad tramor ac yn 1988 cafodd gyfle prin i gyfweliad arweinydd Libia, Cyrnol Gadaffi.[1]
