Ron Hubbard yw Scientoleg[1] neu Seientoleg.[2] Y prif sefydliad sy'n hyrwyddo Scientoleg yw Eglwys Scientoleg, mudiad hierarchaidd a sefydlwyd gan Hubbard, a gelwir grwpiau annibynnol sy'n defnyddio deunyddiau Hubbard yn y Parth Rhydd (Free Zone). Datblygodd Hubbard ddysgeidiaeth Scientoleg ym 1952 i olynu ei system hunangymorth gynt, Dianetics. Yn hwyrach disgrifiodd Hubbard Scientoleg fel "athroniaeth grefyddol gymhwysol" a sail am grefydd newydd. Mae athrawiaeth Scientoleg yn cynnwys archwilio (auditing), athroniaeth o adferiad ysbrydol a "phuredigaeth", ac yn ymdrin â phynciau megis moeseg, addysg, a rheolaeth.
